Tires can gradually lose their tread over time and need to be replaced before a potential blow-out occurs. Tires may also wear at differing rates if they are not balanced properly. Sometimes a nail or screw may become lodged in the tire. If it is in the tread of the tire a simple patch will suffice, but if it has punctured the side wall a new tire is necessary.
