Pacific Motor identified a braking issue that would be a problem if not attended to.After several months their diagnostics became a reality.I took the car back to them,and they repaired and solved the problem.The grinding noises I was hearing have totally disappeared.

Pacific Motors has taken immaculate care of my aging 2002 VW Passat station wagon for the past 7 years. With all the problems that arise with an older model car, Kevin and his mechanics have kept my vehicle in tip-top condition. Pacific Motors gives me various options when some of the repairs become extensive. Last week I went in for my yearly checkup and it was time for a new front axle assembly, along with the regular maintenance, all at a very reasonable price. Bottom line: I trust Pacific Motors. Driving home after the repair—the car handled like it was driven off the showroom floor.

During all my years as a car owner I've never found a car service and repair business comparable to Pacific Motor Service! They care about their customers as well as their customers' cars. I recently drove down from Berkeley, where I live now, for what anywhere else might be a routine oil and lube job, rather than finding a place up there. The Pacific Motors service package for the oil and filter replacement also includes tire rotation, a preventive maintenance inspection, road test, and a written report on anything that needs attention. They keep careful records on my car and advise me ahead of time of things that will need attention in the near future so I can plan accordingly. They also have a convenient (and friendly!) shuttle service. I highly recommend Pacific Motor Service to anyone!
