I am always comfortable bringing my 2008 Lexus GS350 to PMS in Pacific Grove where I know that Kevin, Rory and staff will take proper care of my vehicle. With a low-mileage vehicle, I have not had any "serious" problems (and hope to keep it that way) so most of my service needs are routine maintenance. Still, spotting problems (e.g., a weak battery needing replacement which might save me an inconvenient breakdown or excess condensation in the brake fluid requiring draining/replacing might prevent internal damage to sophisticated brake lines and parts) are why I continue to bring my car to Pacific Motor Service. Kevin is thorough when explaining service needs/options and does so in a manner that is never condescending but always done in a manner that gives me confidence that the safety and performance of the vehicle comes first. (Side note: years ago when I was driving a Volvo 760 Turbo that was having problem, a local dealership told me the car would need a new $1,700 turbo. I asked if that would solve the problem the car was having and he said, "No, but you do need a new turbo." The turbo was never replaced, nor needed, as the problem was in another mechanical system. Kevin will do the work needed for your car and ONLY the work needed for your car. Period.)
