It is a pleasure to write a review for Pacific Motor Service. This is something that I don't often do, but because I found that this is a service that can be depended upon to provide high quality work, I am doing so. When your ten year old car is returned to you operating like it is brand new again, you can be sure that you have found a very special automotive service. Also, when the manager does what he says he will do, you can be at ease that their car service will meet your expectations. Five stars for this company!

These guys were 100% amazing. We experienced a problem with a recently replaced piece of suspension (by our mechanic in Los Angeles). We were on holiday in Big Sur and needed to have a same-day diagnosis and repair before we could drive back to Los Angeles. They fit us in to an already busy schedule, checked our car, gave us advice on where to find a great local breakfast, determined the problem, ordered the part, coordinated with our mechanic, and worked out the warranty due to the defective part. The shop was immaculate. The service was unparalleled.

The team at Pacific Motors in Monterey is fantastic! Jim and Kyle are friendly, helpful, and do a fantastic job communicating. During our first visit they did a thorough check of our older vehicle (150K miles). They assessed the condition and provided a detailed list of immediate needs, and also what we could expect to keep it in good shape. We just brought it in for a second visit and they quickly took care of the issue. I highly recommend the Pacific Motors team. We have trust in them to get us back on the road in a safe vehicle.

Jim and Kyle are professional yet friendly. They explain all the car stuff to me well and they and the technicians take super care of my car.

The only change I would have made would have been to offer the Senior Discount at the time of service. This opportunity was available on line, but not promoted at the shop.

Pacific Motors is a business founded on honesty and service. Everyone is a complete professional, dedicated to making anyone who walks in the door feel comfortable and leave satisfied, Cars are fixed quickly, with minimal fuss, and no need to come back for additional work. I'd like to single out Tony, lead mechanic, for his excellence and his diagnostic skills. Jim, at the Helm, assisted by Kyle, take time to make sure the car is fixed, and fixed right the first time. I highly recommend these folks for auto repair and service.
