My rear main seal was replaced in 2020 and I was told that there was a 3 year/ 36k warranty, this was also stated on my paperwork. Now the seal needs to be replaced again in less than 3 years, and now I'm told the warranty is 2 years / 24k because we are no longer in Monterey. I was never told this nor is it stated on my paperwork. This is a costly $2200 repair that I need to pay for again. I used this shop often and spent thousands of dollars with them and I'm so disappointed that not only did the repair fail, but they weren't honest about the warranty. I can no longer recommend this shop.

We do have, and honor a rather robust 3 year/36,000 mile warranty that covers all parts and labor. Our warranty specifically states the vehicle must be returned to us in order to take care of any issue. Regretfully, you have moved away from our area and are not able to get the vehicle back to us. We are also a part of a nationwide warranty network that covers all parts and labor for 2 years/24,000 miles. Unfortunately, you have exceeded those terms and are not covered under that system any longer. I assure you, however, we are concerned for all our clients' wellbeing, and would gladly install a new seal if the vehicle was here. Again thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
