Once again, Pacific Motor Service went the extra mile for us. On a Friday, our son headed down the rural coast south of Carmel and called me to say that our minivan's "Check Engine" light had come on and the coolant looked a little low. I told him to call Pacific Motors and ask their advice, especially since we needed the minivan to carry gear for a long trip the next day. Service manager Beau told him to bring the car in right away but to check the fluid level every few miles. My son arrived at the shop only 20 minutes before closing time, but Beau had the problem diagnosed, staying late to be sure we'd be okay for the trip the next day. I took the car in several days later for replacement of the defective sensor. We were not turned away that Friday, so we did not need to seek another mechanic willing to stay late for us. This is my second visit to Pacific Motor Service, once earlier this year for service, and now for the smog test. The customer handling is the best that I have ever scene. Keep up the great work. - TS

very accommodating-speedy service

I called the afternoon before and asked if you could do a 30,000-mile service the next morning. The answer was "yes," and it would take about 2 hours. I brought it in at 9:00 and was called at 11:30 to say that it was ready. That is good service, especially on such short notice.

As always, the whole experience at Pacific Motors was quick, easy, pleasant, on my schedule, all questions and issues addressed..... just a great team to work with. They really do feel like old friends. Really appreciated the rides you provided for me both back to my home, then back to the shop so I didn't have to sit around and wait. :-)

I thought that Beau did a great job in diagnosing why the service engine soon light was coming on, when I had just been in to do some basic maintainance anyways.

Pacific Motor Service is a shop I am confident in. Friendly staff and well educated. They go out of there way to take care of your cars needs and explain clearly. Comfortable reception room and rides are available if needed.

These guys are professional and good people. This was the second time I put my car into their care, and it is always returned in much better condition. The only downside for me is that the service is expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for, which is quality work.
