Once again, Pacific Motor Service went the extra mile for us. On a Friday, our son headed down the rural coast south of Carmel and called me to say that our minivan's "Check Engine" light had come on and the coolant looked a little low. I told him to call Pacific Motors and ask their advice, especially since we needed the minivan to carry gear for a long trip the next day. Service manager Beau told him to bring the car in right away but to check the fluid level every few miles. My son arrived at the shop only 20 minutes before closing time, but Beau had the problem diagnosed, staying late to be sure we'd be okay for the trip the next day. I took the car in several days later for replacement of the defective sensor. We were not turned away that Friday, so we did not need to seek another mechanic willing to stay late for us.
